The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is a not-for-profit publisher of a wide range of books, journals and databases. The RSC publishes a series of high impact E-journals that are dedicated to the rapid publishing of innovative chemistry.  The RSC employs over 500 people globally with offices in Cambridge & London (UK), Philadelphia (USA), Tokyo (Japan), Beijing and Shanghai (China), Bangalore (India), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Dubai, and local representation in Melbourne, Australia. 

With a publishing history that dates from 1841, today the Royal Society of Chemistry produces over forty journals, over one thousand five hundred eBooks, five literature updating services, two magazines, MarinLit, the Merck Index and ChemSpider.  All journals and products are dedicated to the rapid publishing of innovative chemistry.  RSC's titles make up 30% of the top 20 journals in chemical science and 85% of journals have an impact factor greater than 3.
