Special offers from Royal Society Publishing

The Royal Society Publishing publishes nine journals across the biological, physical, mathematical and engineering sciences. This collection includes well renowned titles such as Philosophical Transactions, the very first scientific journal in history (1665), as well as more recent, highly cited interdisciplinary ones such as the Journal of the Royal Society Interface. In 2011 the RSP launches its first fully open access journal, Open Biology.

The Royal Society Publishing is the publishing division of The Royal Society, a self-governing Fellowship of many of the world’s most distinguished scientists drawn from all areas of science, engineering, and medicine.

The Royal Society’s fundamental purpose, reflected in its founding Charters of the 1660s, is to recognise, promote, and support excellence in science and to encourage the development and use of science for the benefit of humanity.
